Learning の略語で、日本語では「内容言語統合型学習」と呼ばれている。1990年代半ばにヨーロッパで生まれた新しい教育的試みである。現在では我が国も含めて世界の多くの国々で導入され、様々な形態で実践されている。本稿では、フィンランドにおける CLIL の拡大・発展の背後にある成功要因を、教育的要因・制度的要因・社会的要因の３つの観点から分析した自身の先行研究の結果を踏まえながら、我が国における CLIL の現状を明らかにした上で、今後我が国においても CLIL
